This week at a glance

Hey there -

If you have stumbled upon this post I suppose you're interested in seeing how my week was so here ya go... (all the boring yet MY FAVORITE part) The formulas will follow post.

All Pravana -

Root = green and emerald -

mids - a mix of blue topaz and green as well as a violet and amethyst

yellow is neon yellow and yellow mixed.

Ends - magenta + magenta with orange.

Vivids Red over previously colored NOT bleached hair.

Tip : if you have a virgin, lift that baby with color first and over lay vivids!

Lifted roots - to a level 10 and toned with violet express tones, and the ends are violet and clear equal parts express tones.

This hair was a level 5 with previous red.

I used the Artificial Hair color Extractor ( if you haven't used it, you NEED to. It's peroxide free so it doesn't affect the root! Now this product is tricky, you need to follow directions to a T. Scrub, scrub, scrub like you're trying to remove a stain out of the hair, and BAM MAGIC!

After being dried I Lightened with the platinum card technique using Pure light power lightener with 20/30 vol. Started at the nape with 20 volume and ended in the front right section. Blended her root with 7.11 and Toned with Violet and moody blue (equal parts) and violet and clear.

This one was a blast. I met this lovely soul at RAW Boston last year, we followed eachothers art work, and finally when she was done doing the blue herself she reached out.

Lightened using the same technique listed above.

Red - Red and locked in red with orange for filling

orange - orange and neon orange

yellow - Neon yellow and

yellow.

holy fuck balls this came out sick!

Sarah wanted to wear her grey but show an edge to her style with a pop of blue. She handed me swatches and i mixed. I used blue topaz, clear, mystical mint and a drop of green. I wish I pictured this better because her triangle earrings were killer!
